After breakfast, set out for the final highlight of your safari—Lake Manyara National Park, a small yet remarkably diverse gem located about 120 km west of Arusha. The park is named after its shallow, alkaline lake, which expands and contracts with the seasons and provides a haven for thousands of flamingos as well as over 500 bird species.

As you explore the park, you’ll encounter a rich variety of wildlife, from playful monkeys in the forest canopies to elegant giraffes, roaming zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, and large herds of elephants. With a bit of luck, you may even spot the park’s famous tree-climbing lions resting on the branches. Lake Manyara is also renowned for its striking range of landscapes, featuring open grassy plains, primate-filled woodlands, and rugged cliffs dotted with ancient baobab trees.
