Pick-Up and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Your adventure begins! Our professional guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe after breakfast.

We’ll drive southwest, heading towards Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

Along the way, enjoy a photo stop at the Equator and learn some interesting facts about this geographical landmark.

Lunch will be served in Mbarara town before we continue through scenic hills dotted with banana and tea plantations.

Arrive at your lodge near Bwindi in time for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Pick-Up and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Cultural Experience

Today is the day you meet the gentle giants! After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters with your packed lunch.

You’ll receive a detailed briefing before heading into the jungle with your ranger guides.

Depending on where the gorillas are, the trek may take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours.

You’ll have one magical hour to observe, photograph, and enjoy watching the gorillas as they eat, play, and groom each other.

In the afternoon, enjoy a cultural encounter with the local Batwa community before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Return to Kampala or Entebbe

After breakfast, we begin our drive back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport.

This return journey offers more stunning views of the Ugandan countryside.

If you have an evening flight, we’ll ensure timely drop-off at the airport. Need a post-tour night in Entebbe or Kampala? Just let us know in advance.
