Transfer from Kigali City to Volcanoes National Park

You’ll be met at your hotel or the airport by an English- or French-speaking driver-guide from Wildhorn Africa. Your Kigali city tour will include visits to the bustling Kimironko local market and the moving Kigali Genocide Memorial. After enjoying lunch, you’ll continue your journey to Volcanoes National Park. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, you’ll carry a packed lunch and head to the park headquarters, where you’ll receive a briefing on proper etiquette for meeting mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.

Once prepared, you’ll set out on your unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure. Following this incredible experience, return to your lodge with Wildhorn Africa for a well-deserved lunch. In the afternoon, your driver-guide will escort you to the scenic twin lakes of Bulera and Ruhondo before bringing you back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Golden Monkey Trekking and transfer to Kigali

After an early breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your lodge by Wildhorn Africa and transferred to the park offices for a briefing on how to interact respectfully with golden monkeys in their natural habitat. You’ll then set off to encounter these playful primates, enjoying the chance to observe and photograph them up close in the wild.

Following this memorable experience, your driver-guide will take you back to Kigali. Along the way, you’ll stop for lunch at one of the city’s finest local restaurants before being dropped off at your hotel or the airport in time for your departure.
