Transfer to Mgahinga National Park

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by your Wildhorn Africa guide for a briefing on your safari itinerary. From there, you’ll begin your journey to Mgahinga National Park, with a stop along the way for lunch. By evening, you’ll arrive at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, marking the start of an exciting adventure amid Uganda’s breathtaking landscapes.

Gorilla trekking

After breakfast, you’ll proceed to the Mgahinga National Park headquarters for a detailed briefing on gorilla trekking rules and guidelines. From there, set off on an exhilarating trek through the forest in search of mountain gorillas in their natural environment. Once found, you’ll spend a magical hour watching these gentle giants up close, learning about their unique behavior and family interactions. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and some well-deserved rest. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge, courtesy of Wildhorn Africa.

Golden monkey trekking and Batwa cultural experience

Begin the day with breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing on golden monkey tracking. You’ll then venture into the lush forest, a haven for primates and birdlife, to encounter these playful monkeys in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the Batwa cultural experience, where you’ll learn about the community’s traditions and way of life. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge, hosted by Wildhorn Africa.

Transfer back Entebbe international airport

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before setting off on a scenic drive back to Entebbe. Along the way, soak in the stunning landscapes and pause for a lunch break before continuing the journey through Kampala. You’ll then arrive at Entebbe International Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure with Wildhorn Africa.
