Your safari with Wildhorn Africa begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe at 7:00 am. After a short briefing from your guide, you’ll embark on a scenic 9-hour journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, pausing for lunch along the way in Mbarara. On arrival in the afternoon, you’ll check in at your lodge and unwind as you prepare for the adventures ahead.

Game Drive in Kasenyi & Boat Ride on Kazinga Channel

With Wildhorn Africa, your day begins with a hearty breakfast before setting out on another exciting game drive in the Ishasha sector, renowned for its famous tree-climbing lions. With an expert guide leading the way, you’ll venture deep into the dense rainforest to track the magnificent mountain gorillas. The trek can last anywhere from 1 to 8 hours, depending on the gorillas’ movements, but the reward is priceless—an awe-inspiring hour spent watching these gentle giants in their natural environment.
